--Well, I am off the subject of the siren. I think everything that could be written about it, has been. I do believe though that none of us know everything about it, and probably never will. I feel fairly confident though that all precautions are being taken to make sure it doesn't happen again.
--The City of Center is offering a $500 reward for the immature delinquent that put ruts in the park by the flagpole. I could use $500 but can't even hear any "rumors" about who did it. I would like to see the individual caught though, then stripped of all his/her clothing, tied to the flag pole, publicly given a good horse-whippin, and left on exhibit for 24 hours for all those passing by on Hwy 19. I keep thinking that this character probably hangs around with other seedy people, and eventually one of those turds will turn on him/her, just for the reward money. The truth will come out eventually.
--What about this rain? I've been reading where some meteorologists are recommending prayer. Isn't that something? Local weather stations do well to be half way accurate, so we've always prayed about the weather! You can learn more from God than you can a weather man, and God doesn't have NEXRAD or whatever worthless equipment all those geeky guys & gals use. Don't trust the weather man; look out the window. Oh yea, don't trust sirens either.
